Goat Grazing
Northwest Grazing offers goat grazing services to control unwanted vegetation. Our goats effectively reduce invasive plants like blackberries, poison oak, yellow starthistle, knapweed, and scotch broom. They also clear fine fuels to improve fire safety. Goats’ unique digestion handles tough plants, and their grazing boosts soil health by returning nutrients through dung. This sustainable method restores land naturally, providing an eco-friendly vegetation management solution in Oregon and Washington.
How We Work
We like to start with a site visit, which allows us to determine feasibility, make a plan, and give you an accurate quote.
We supply reliable and effective electric net fencing, the goats, livestock guardian dogs, a water trailer if necessary, and goat necessities. We typically put the whole herd on every job, 200+ goats.
Cost is determined on a per job basis. It depends on density of vegetation, size, distance, terrain, and labor necessary to clear, build, and maintain fences. We currently only serve jobs over 2 acres.
Free site visits.
